new roastery and Coffee Shop &#8220;Ready Set&#8221; with the support of Espresso Academy&#8217;s Team.<\/h3>\n<h4>Why did you attend the Espresso academy courses?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Molly-<\/strong> After designing a coffee bar I was interested in working in the industry and worked at 2 separate locations.\u00a0 <strong>I wanted to learn more about coffee<\/strong> and knew I had to find classes to get training beyond what was offered where I worked in order <strong>to open my own coffee bar<\/strong>.\u00a0 I went online to look for a place that offered a wide variety of classes and certification.\u00a0 The Espresso Academy offered the <a href=\"https:\/\/espressoacademy.it\/en\/our-courses\/five-days-coffee-route\/\"><strong>One Week Coffee Route<\/strong> <\/a>where we could get an overview of everything.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t find anything else like it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris-<\/strong>\u00a0 We\u00a0attended the One Week Coffee Route in the Fall of 2018.\u00a0 I also had Inspiring, Fun<\/p>\n<h4>&#8230;.3 more<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Molly &#8211;<\/strong> Exciting, intense, fun<\/p>\n<h4>Useful for your career&#8230;<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Molly &#8211; I was working as a barista and needed more training<\/strong> if I was going to open my own shop. In choosing the Espresso Academy I was hoping to further my understanding of coffee to be a better barista and be able to train future employees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What I found was so much more<\/strong>.\u00a0 I realized how much there is to learn and all the career opportunities there are involving specialty coffee.\u00a0 <strong>I had never considered coffee roasting, but after the roasting class with Marco, I knew we had to roast coffee.\u00a0<\/strong> Less than a year of attending the Espresso Academy, we now have a roaster, signed a lease, and feel confident that we are on our way to having a successful business.\u00a0 \u00a0I credit so much of this to all the professional instructors that trained us &#8211; from<strong> coffee management, sensory, brewing, barista skills and roasting<\/strong>.\u00a0 They all are\u00a0 professional in their field and obviously have a passion for what they do and a love for teaching others.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently <strong>roasting coffee in a temporary space<\/strong> and planning the design of our coffee bar which is currently under construction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris &#8211;<\/strong> I\u00a0\u00a0had attended the Academy with little knowledge in the field of coffee.\u00a0 So everything I learned was new and exciting to me. The courses I took were my introduction into the world of specialty coffee and inspired me to start a new career in the field.\u00a0 The instructors not only only were knowledgable, but experienced in \/><\/h4>\n<h4>Future projects?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Molly-<\/strong> We are currently <strong>working on a San Franciscan 6lb roaster and plan to order a 25 lb roaster in 2020<\/strong>.
