trainers<\/strong> so that they can be able to organize these barista courses and certifications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The latest addition to the <a href=\"https:\/\/espressoacademy.it\/en\/our-partners\/\"><strong>Espresso Academy Family<\/strong><\/a> has been a company called One House Solutions from <strong>Kathmandu<\/strong> who are already running a school of their own and have decided to upgrade their courses and give them a more international value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Long story short, we just spent<strong> 9 amazing days in Nepal<\/strong> with our new partners, learning from each other and preparing the school and the future trainers to follow <a href=\"https:\/\/espressoacademy.it\/en\/italian-barista-method-certifications\/\"><strong>our certification system.<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5386\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Espresso Academy Nepal<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We started by going through the entire course with the new trainers, they were actually already very well prepared so this was easy, afterwards they took <strong>the full barista exams<\/strong> and we also did some exam simulations to let them practice as trainers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our program is divided in two parts:<a href=\"https:\/\/espressoacademy.it\/en\/italian-barista-method-certifications\/\"> <strong>the basic level is called Banconista Level<\/strong><\/a> and it covers all the general knowledge a future barista should have, from coffee production, processing and roasting to espresso preparation and some classic italian second level is the Barista Level<\/a><\/strong>, to pass this exam the student must have a lot more experience, they need to be much more prepared on the production chain of coffee and the actual work of the barista, they need to be able to evaluate their personal espresso recipe and as a final test they will need to demonstrate a certain speed and ability to work behind the counter by passing the <a href=\"https:\/\/espressoacademy.it\/en\/italian-barista-method-certifications\/\"><strong>Barista Trial<\/strong> <\/a>which will be timed and published on <a class=\"wp-caption-text\">Espresso Academy Nepal<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a side project, during our stay we\u2019ve also done some experiments in the <strong>roasting lab of Red Cherry Coffee Roastery<\/strong>, it was very interesting to compare different methods and styles of roasting from different countries and to taste local <strong>Nepali coffee<\/strong> at different roast levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We hope our insights have been very useful for the company and we\u2019re excited to keep working with them in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now we\u2019re back in italy and it\u2019s just a matter of time before our friends in Nepal are <a href=\"https:\/\/espressoacademy.it\/en\/registro-diplomi-riconosciuti\/\"><strong>ready to start their new Italian Barista Method courses<\/strong><\/a>, we are glad we\u2019ve started this project
