– Hi Ricardo, when do you attend Espresso Academy’s Coffee Courses?

I attended a One Week Coffee Route in spring 2018 with business partner Diego Tobon, a real full immersion in the coffee world

– How you will describe our Espresso Academy?

Espresso Academy is and Eye Opener for people who wants to learn about coffee that makes you understand that the world of coffee is really huge, the One Week Coffee Route was a condensed course but it was really complete

– What did you learn in Espresso Academy was important for your coffee business?

What really help us in our business, in the year after the course was our ability to manage the different variable of extraction with different methods from espresso to filter coffee. And also that give us a good vision in terms of the different varieties of coffee that grow all over the world

–  After the course you started your coffee business….

Yes, we create a Brand called Green Wheel Coffee.  I’m the fourth generation in coffee, my granfather was a coffee producer.

We sell high quality Colombian coffee in Geneva, lightly roasted, we have an online shop and we have just lunched a line of Cold Brew Coffee that we sell in Coffee Shops and supermarket around Switzerland

– What are your future projects?

We have several future projects,  some of them include retail, creating coffee shops, others are more into creating a different way to enjoy coffee. Our line of Cold brew is made of three different single origin coffees and we want to expand this, looking for new distributions nationally and internationally and we will be able to offer a wide range of coffe: for espresso, filter coffee and office machines.
