Coffee sustainability course - coffee sustainability program SCA

This course is recommended for anyone working in the world of coffee, from coffee farmers to baristas, to know and deepen the various aspects related to sustainability with a focus on social, Economic, and environmental issues of the coffee supply chain so as to clarify the complex but not impossible challenges related to sustainability in the coffee value chain and start recognizing and implementing the best solutions. 

This course gives access to the SCA Coffee Sustainability Foundation exam, which can be held, upon request of the student, directly at the end of the course.

Simone Celli

Years of experience behind the bar as a barista and restaurant manager, his passion for coffee led him to direct the most widely read Italian coffee blog in the world ilcaffeespressoitaliano.com. In Espresso Academy he is the trainer of the Cafeteria, Brewing and Latte Art courses and Latte Art Grading certifier. One of the founders of the Italian Barista Method system, he deals with the selection of the new Caffelab Specialty Coffees and the programs on the sustainability of the coffee supply chain.

Passionate about the food & beverage sector, after graduating at the hospitality school Michele discovers his passion for coffee and starts working as barista and manager in a Specialty coffee in Campania. In Espresso Academy he is a trainer for barista and brewing courses. Recently he became the first AST Italian of the new sustainability program of the Specialty Coffee Association
