In the last few months we’ve had more students at the Espresso Academy than we could have ever hoped for and it’s great to see so much interest in our courses and in coffee in general!
But let’s take a look at what happens at that mysterious table behind our class when the teachers aren’t teaching….

One of our main projects at the moment takes place in a land far far away from Florence: we are working as technical consultants for a company who is starting an innovative chain of coffee shops in Saudi Arabia and maybe even further around the Persian Gulf where all the attention will be on our beloved coffee!

The main theme will be the importance of the quality and origin of the coffee itself which will be prepared with brewing methods from all over the world: Espresso, Ibrik, Chemex, Syphon…
People will have the chance to buy single origin coffees after tasting them or just smelling some fresh grounds, and those who like to experiment will get to make their own blends on the spot to get that unique taste that works for them, just like we do with our coffee online, on www.caffelab.com!

This project is still very fresh but we’re hoping to open our first kiosk as soon as possible,
